Savour old world charm in this award winning Irish cottage which captures old world elegance. The Gables self catering accommodation is located on the outskirts of medieval Kilkenny City on rich limestone land in the midst of Archersgrove Farm estate, which covers nearly 200 acres.
The Gables self catering accommodation is a spacious cosy 18th century coach house restored by Kevin in 1989, dates back to the original Archersgrove house.
On arrival you will be personally greeted with a warm Irish welcome by your hosts, Kevin and Joan, who will show you to your cottage where a complimentary "Welcome Pack" of home baking awaits you.
As you wake up in the morning listen to the birds singing outside in the horse chestnut tree and gaze out at the ponies grazing in the fields.
Relax at a warm turf fire after a day visiting attractions in Kilkenny and the south east of Ireland, historical sites or fishing on the River Nore which runs through our farm. Maybe you would prefer to visit a local Irish pub and listen to traditional music.
